The Eta Chapter of Phi Beta Kappa at UMBC is grateful for the support of The Mark & Patricia Joseph Phi Beta Kappa Fund, The Jay Freyman Phi Beta Kappa Endowment Fund, the Office of the Provost, the Division of Undergraduate Academic Affairs, and the Honors College.
Thanks to this generosity, UMBC is able to cover the $85 one-time membership fee for all undergraduate initiates at the time of induction to the Eta chapter.
